Italian-tech: Innovation for a circular economy
In Zurich, at the prestigious Google headquarters, Eurizon, alongside Camera di Commercio Italiana in Svizzera, Bocconi Alumni Zurigo, and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, held a meeting dedicated to presenting Italian innovation, combining it with the concept of circular economy.
During the event, three Italian start-ups were presented (Aworld, Enerbrain, iGenius), and shared their ideas on the themes of the day.
In the second part of the event, after an introductory address by Manuel Dalla Corte, Head of Eurizon’s Swiss sales network, a panel discussion took place, and Corrado Gaudenzi, Head of Sustainable Strategies, spoke of Eurizon’s commitment to the circular economy, presenting the findings of a research study dedicated to this theme in relation to investments.
The current day economic model is increasingly acknowledged as being unsustainable, and there is mounting awareness of the fact that economic growth can only be decoupled from the depletion of resources and of the environment by replacing the linear economy with a circular economy model. An important transition for the world of investment, too.
